Halee Connelly is a 30-year-old professional birth, newborn, maternity, heirloom and lifestyle photographer located in the Lowcountry of South Carolina. After dreaming of becoming a photographer her whole life, she decided to jumpstart her photography career in 2014 by attending and completing classes at Midlands Technical College located in Columbia, South Carolina.
Shortly after, she welcomed her first son into the world. Photography took on an entirely new meaning in her life. Not only was it a way to provide for her son, but also a way to capture every beautiful moment in her son's life, while satisfying her creative soul. Her passion and gift from God are something that has truly blessed her in life.
Now, a mom to two little boys and a little girl, she currently resides in Walterboro, South Carolina. She is going on 11 years of capturing emotion, storytelling and chasing light in the Lowcountry.
My approach
When I photograph a family, my focus is never just on how everything looks - but on how it feels to be together in that moment. I gently guide when needed, but I also leave space for the in-between moments. The laughter, the chaos, the quiet connections that make your family uniquely yours. I know how quickly these seasons pass, especially with little ones, so my goal is to preserve the real, fleeting beauty of your life as it is right now. I want you to walk away with not only beautiful images, but with something that feels honest, emotional, and deeply meaningful every time you look back on it.
